CHC50121 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
For those who have completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, this is the ideal qualification for upskilling in to team leader, supervisor or manager roles.
Educators at this level are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum that meets the requirements of an approved learning framework and for maintaining compliance in other areas of service operations. They use specialised knowledge and analyse and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations. They may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other educators.
This course will provide you with the skills necessary to become an effective room leader within a Early Learning Childcare Centre and will give you the skills and knowledge to assist other educators in implementing sound curriculums, allowing the children in your care to grown and learn.
There are two ways you can complete this course, either through;

Face-to-face classroom based training, or

Workplace based traineeship

We take great care in our Enrolment Process as we want to make sure that Childcare is a good fit for you. Therefore, after your initial Enrolment Enquiry, we ask you to come in and meet one of our Training Advisors for an Enrolment Interview.
At your enrolment interview you will be asked to:

Sit a short Entry Assessment and Suitability discussion

Discuss your fee options

Receive your formal acceptance to Greenhouse and your Student Information Guide
You are also required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) by the time of your Enrolment Interview. Click on the button below and follow the instructions to obtain your USI.
