AHC30716 Certificate III in Horticulture

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to work effectively in the horticulture industry. If you have industry experience this course will enhance your skills.


Subjects are selected from specialisations including floriculture, landscaping, nursery, parks and gardens, production skills and turf management.

Subjects may include plant identification, irrigation, pest and disease control, nursery work, hard landscaping, hydroponics, and turf maintenance.

Course Details

This course runs for a period of 22 weeks, 2 days per week. The course is a mix of workshop learning and practical on the job training and assessment.

  • This course has classes starting each month. For a specific start date please contact one of our team members.
  • You will be allocated a highly experienced and qualified Trainer / Assessor who, in addition to delivering your class will also provide support over the phone, via email or face-to-face as required.
  • During your enrolment process you will be guided through all training and assessments, in detail, to ascertain what units are most suitable to your needs and what support strategies are necessary to assist you in completing your qualification.

Delivery Schedule

This course will run for 2 day per week face-to-face for 22 weeks. Starting dates: Monday 14th Sept (Monday & Tuesday classes) Wednesday 11th November (Wednesday & Thursday classes)


We take great care in our Enrolment Process as we want to make sure that Horticulture is a good fit for you. Therefore, after your initial Enrolment Enquiry, we ask you to come in and meet with one of our Trainers for an Enrolment Interview.
