About the event
HLTAID012 - Time: 8.30am – 4.30pm
This unit of competency is designed to provide the necessary skills for anyone employed within an Early Childhood Education or Care setting to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults.
This course is a combination of theoretical and practical application of the information and techniques taught. You will have access to pre-reading material before attending the course and will be asked to complete a pre-assessment to demonstrate understanding and competency in regard to that material.
You will then attend the practical component of the course at the Greenhouse Education Training Facilities and will be assessed by our First Aid Trainer and Assessor. If you are deemed to have successfully completed both the theoretical and practical component of the course and have demonstrated a sound understanding of all the material, you will be awarded a certificate as proof of your certification.

This registration is for the complete HLTAID012 Provide an emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care setting course. This ticket is available only to existing Greenhouse Education Students either undertaking their study as part of the Priority Industry Training program or via a Traineeship. This registration includes the reading material, theoretical and practical components of the course.
